Taking its name from the Spanish surrealist artist Joan Miró, the Miró Quartet embraces the traditional as well as the fresh and modern aesthetic of the 20th century.

They are joined by one of today’s most innovative and compelling artists, Scottish classical percussion soloist Colin Currie, who is acclaimed for his “… athletic percussionism, compulsive showmanship and deep musicality." –The Guardian

The ECMS functions primarily through the contributions of volunteers. We offer a variety of roles with differing time commitments and skill development opportunities. Musical knowledge is not a prerequisite for joining our volunteer team.

Part-time Contract Opportunity with ECMS

ECMS is seeking an experienced Arts Management professional with strong communication and organizational skills to lead and coordinate key activities for our season and Festival.

Developing and executing a publicity and media relations plan, fostering business sponsorships, preparing grant applications and accounting for funding are encompassed in the role.

The time commitment will vary during the year and range from 30 to 60 hours per month. Compensation will be negotiated in accordance with skills and experience.
