Concert cancellations: March 23 and April 16, 2020

Dear valued patrons:

On March 12, 2020 the Chief Medical Officer of Alberta issued a statement pertaining to COVID-19 asking that all gatherings of more than 250 attendees be cancelled. In accordance with this and with provincial public health guidelines on managing COVID-19 risk, and with respect for the safety of our performers and patrons, the Edmonton Chamber Music Society has cancelled the March 23 [Dénes Várjon/Sheng Cai] and April 16 [Amarcord] concerts.

The health and well-being of our patrons, and musicians are of the utmost importance.

The necessity of cancelling events is going to impact the operations of arts organizations and the livelihood of performers. If it is possible for you, please consider donating your purchased ticket price toward the ongoing success of the Edmonton Chamber Music Society and we would be pleased to issue tax receipts in the amount.

There are three options for your existing tickets:

1. Donate your tickets and receive a tax receipt in return.
2. The Edmonton Chamber Music Society will honour your existing tickets for a future performance in the 2020/2021 season.
3. Receive a refund for your ticket by contacting TIX on the Square [780-420-1757 or tix@tixonthesquare.ca] directly.
